Homer Axe House offers the only end-grain targets in Alaska. What makes our targets different from the rest? End-grain targets mimic the traditional method of throwing axes at a large tree round and are essentially self-healing, making them last longer. This avoids the chewed-up targets you often see in axe throwing venues that use vertical plank targets. The result? Axes that stick – even axes thrown at less than perfect angles are less likely to drop off the target.

More than a bullseye!

Traditional bullseye targets allow for a variety of games to keep the fun going. Homer Axe House takes it to a whole new level with projected image targets from Axcitement.com. Using projected images allows you to play a larger variety of games. Do you like the standard bullseye games? You can still do that with a projected image of a bullseye. Do you want more of a challenge? With our projected targets, the bullseye can move around on the target after each throw. Are you bored with the standard bullseye? Our projected image targets offer an expanded choice of games including tic tac toe, connect four, and even zombies.
